I currently collect and process the following information:
· Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics — for example, name, email address and phone number.
How I get the personal information and why we have it:
Most of the personal information I process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
· You scheduled a call.
· You purchased my coaching sessions or packages.
· You sent an email enquiry through my website.
· You subscribed to my newsletter.
I also receive personal information from third parties to assist me in providing coaching to you. It is your choice if you interact with and give your personal data to these third parties, as follows:
Calendly manages my bookings. Calendly will use your name and email address in order to send you confirmation of your booking and to inform me of your booking. If you choose, Calendly will also use your phone number to remind you of your upcoming bookings with me. If you prefer, you can book directly with me via my contact form.
Squarespace manages my website and the automated process of sending out my newsletters. SquareSpace uses your email address to send you newsletters and uses your first name to personalise the newsletter. No newsletters will be sent to you unless you have given explicit consent, via a subscriber form. If you do subscribe to receive my newsletters, you can easily unsubscribe at the bottom of each newsletters.
Stripe and Paypal process some of the payments you make for my coaching, unless you choose to make a direct bank transfer.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You have the right to access, update and erase your personal data held by me. You can do this by emailing me at hello@sheilaruiz.com and I will process your request quickly and confirm when it has been done.
(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) In order to deliver the services requested.

Your information is securely stored and is used solely for the purpose of the requested services.

Under data protection law, you have the following key rights:
Your right of access - you have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - you have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - you have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - you have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave me to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond to you.
