Booking a coaching session or package with Sheila Ruiz

These terms and conditions apply to the Client [you, your team or community] and the Coach / Consultant [Sheila Ruiz].

  1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

    • A booking is considered confirmed only once payment has been made. You will receive an email confirmation with the scheduled date and time.

    • All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking unless you have been offered a payment plan option.

    • Accepted forms of payment include card payment, PayPal or bank transfer.

  2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

    • You may request to reschedule or cancel the session via the link in your booking confirmation email.

    • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session will be eligible for a full refund.

    • If you cancel within less than 48 hours of the session time, you will not receive a refund.

    • No-show clients (those who do not attend the session) will not be refunded.

    • If you show up late, the session will still end as scheduled — no additional time will be provided.

    • The coach/consultant reserves the right to cancel sessions at any time and will notify the client with as much notice as possible.

    • If the consultant cancels a session and this is not rescheduled, the client will be refunded the full amount within 30 days.

  3. Preparation

    • To make the most of our time together, please submit the onboarding Google Form at least 48 hours before the session.

    • Failure to submit the form or to fill it out fully may result in the session being rescheduled or limited in scope.

  4. Confidentiality

    • All information shared during the session is considered confidential by both the client and the coach/consultant, and will not be disclosed to any third parties without prior written consent unless required by law.

    • The client agrees not to record or share the content of the coaching session without the consultant's consent.

    • The coach/consultant will record and send the video and transcript to the client following the session. These are for your records only and should not be shared publicly. Please save these files since the coach/consultant cannot store them permanently.

  5. No Guarantees & Liability Limitations

    • Due to the nature of coaching, the results that may be experienced by different clients will vary significantly and specific results or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

    • The client hereby accepts responsibility for their success, their overall wellbeing and their relationships.

    • The coach/consultant will not be liable for any losses, damages or issues arising directly or indirectly from the coaching provided.

  6. Technical & Physical Requirements

    • Clients must ensure they have access to a stable internet connection, working microphone, and camera for the online sessions and a suitable physical space for the in-person sessions.

    • The online sessions will be conducted via Zoom. If you cannot access the platform, please contact the coach/consultant beforehand to arrange an alternative.

  7. Conduct During Sessions

    • Clients agree to maintain a respectful and professional tone during the coaching sessions. Abusive language, threats, or inappropriate behavior may result in the immediate termination of the session, with no refund issued.

    • Clients are expected to engage actively and with the camera turned on during sessions to ensure they gain the most value from the coaching.

  8. Changes to Terms

    • The consultant reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email, and the new terms will apply to future bookings.

  9. Governing Law

    • The laws of the United Kingdom shall govern these terms and conditions, and any disputes will be resolved within this jurisdiction.

  10. Acceptance of Terms

    • By booking a coaching session, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
